ClexaCon Virtual – Frequently Asked Questions

Important Information

Before joining the virtual event, please check the following:

  • That you have a solid, stable internet connection
  • That your microphone and camera are functioning properly

ClexaCon is not responsible if your internet drops out, slows or glitches during the event or if any of your hardware malfunctions during the event.

ASL Interpreters will be available for all panels. ASL will also be available for all fan interaction events by request. Please answer “yes” to the “ASL Interpreter Requested” question when registering for the event, and “yes” to requesting an ASL interpreter when purchasing any fan interaction add-ons. 

Please email [email protected] if you have any questions or if you require ASL but did not check “yes” when purchasing a ticket or an add-on.

No refunds will be given if you miss a scheduled event for any reason. 

If you are removed from an event due to inappropriate behaviour you will not receive a refund.

 

Livestream FAQ

How do I register for the event?

To register for ClexaCon Virtual visit https://viewstub.com/ClexaConVirtual. You will receive an email confirmation with a link to the livestream and your personalized access code. Keep this safe and log in when the event starts.

Can I get a ticket just for one day?

We are only offering a full-event ticket for this event. 

How do I access the livestream?

Click on the link in your confirmation email and enter your personalized access code. You can use the same link and code to access the event over all 3 days.

Can I view the livestream panels and events after they have been streamed live?

This event can only be viewed live. There will be no recordings available after the event to ticket holders or non-ticket holders. If you’d like to see the panels and events you’ll need to log in live April 16-18, 2021.

Can I record or screen grab any parts of the event?

Recording of the event is not allowed for any purpose. Please respect the wishes of the guests and speakers in attendance and refrain from recording any part of the event against their wishes. 

Where can I find a schedule for the event?

The schedule will be made available in the week before we go live.

Where can I see a list of guests?

Our list of guests and speakers is available on our website.

What if I can’t afford a ticket?

We’ll be offering some scholarship tickets for those who cannot afford the $25 minimum for a full weekend pass. Please fill out the form here.

 

Virtual 1-on-1 (meet & greet) FAQ

What is a virtual 1-on-1?

A virtual 1-on-1 is a personal video chat between you and the guest of your choice. 

How does a virtual 1-on-1 work? 

You’ll be scheduled for a window of time for your session. At least 10 minutes before your session you should enter the waiting room. When it is your turn a ClexaCon Virtual staff member will add you to the room with the guest. You’ll have three minutes to chat with the guest before you’ll leave the room. Please note that if you are inappropriate in any way during the 1-on-1 you will be removed without refund. Please be respectful at all times. 

Do I have to be registered for the weekend pass to purchase a 1-on-1?

Yes, we are asking anyone registering for a 1-on-1 to also register for ClexaCon Virtual.

How many people can join the 1-on-1?

The virtual 1-on-1 is for one attendee (you!) and one guest. It cannot be shared by multiple people.

How much time do I get with a guest in a 1-on-1 fan interaction?

Each 1-on-1 session is for 3 minutes.

Can I buy more than one to get a longer time with the guest?

Yes! You can purchase up to three 1-on-1’s with one guest. We’ll schedule you for back to back sessions so that you can have one extended session.

Can I get a selfie with a guest?

Yes you can but this is an additional purchase. Please see the Virtual Photo Op section below. This can be added on to your 1-on-1 session.

Where do I go to access my 1-on-1?

Follow the link in your registration email. 

Will I get a copy of the 1-on-1 video after the event?

This is not available at this time.

Can I share the 1-on-1 on social media or anywhere else?

Recording of the event is not allowed for any purpose. Please respect the wishes of the guests and speakers in attendance and refrain from recording any part of the event, including 1-on-1s, against their wishes.

What time are the 1-on-1 sessions?
The schedule is close to being finalized! As soon as we wrap up final confirmations we will post the schedule and make an announcement!

When do I get my code to join the 1×1?
You will get an email with a link and time for Meet and Greets closer to the event!

Virtual Photo Op FAQ

What is a virtual photo op?

A virtual photo op is a digital selfie of you and the guest. You’ll both pose for a photo and we’ll send you a digital copy. 

Do I need a virtual photo op as well as a 1-on-1?

The virtual photo op can be purchased separately if you’d prefer not to have a 1-on-1 or it can be added to a 1-on-1. 

Can I buy multiple photo ops?

Yes. You can purchase multiple photo ops with each guest so that you can have multiple poses. If you’d like to have a conversation with a guest though please purchase a 1-on-1 instead. 

Autograph FAQ

Can I have the autograph personalized?

Yes! Please enter your personalization request when purchasing your photo op. Personalization must be limited to 60 characters.

When will I get my autograph/s?

Your autograph should arrive approximately 6-8 weeks after the event. 

If you purchase an autograph that requires international shipping please allow additional time. Please note that you will be responsible for any additional fees or custom taxes incurred for international shipping. 

If you purchase autographs from multiple guests they may arrive in separate shipments at different times, depending on when we receive the autographs back from guests. 

Can I send my own item to be signed?

We cannot accept send-in items for this event.

Can I combine shipping on multiple autographs?

Shipping fees cannot be combined. Because guests are at different locations there are separate shipping charges associated with each guest.
